On Online Store 2.0 themes (Dawn and most themes from the Shopify Theme Store), you add the subscription widget with an app block in the theme editor. It takes about a minute and you can place it anywhere in the product information area.
1. Add the Subscription widget to your product page (recommended)
In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes and click Customize next to your current theme.
At the top of the editor, open Products → Default product.
In the left sidebar, under Product information, click Add block. Open the Apps tab and choose Subscription Widget (RecurrinGO!).
Drag the block by its ⋮⋮ handle to where you want it, for example above the Add to cart button.
Click Save.
Open a product that has a subscription rule on your storefront and check that the widget is there.
Shortcut from the app: go to RecurrinGO → Home → App blocks → Subscription widget → Activate app block. This opens the theme editor with the block added. If the block appears in a separate Apps section at the bottom of the page, drag it into Product information, then click Save.
2. Make sure the app embed is on
The widget only appears when the RecurrinGO! app embed is enabled.
In the theme editor, click App embeds in the left sidebar, turn on RecurrinGO!, and click Save. You can also do this from RecurrinGO → Home → App status → Enable the app.
3. Move, hide, or remove the block
Click the Subscription Widget block in the sidebar to move it up or down, duplicate it, hide it, or remove it. You can also drag it by the ⋮⋮ handle. Click Save when you're done.
If you change or publish a new theme, the block doesn't carry over. Add it again in the new theme.
4. Fallback: place the widget with selectors
Use selectors only if:
your theme is a vintage theme without app block support (you won't see Add block → Apps under Product information), or
the block can't be placed where you need it in your theme.
To use selectors:
Go to RecurrinGO → Settings → General → Selectors.
Next to Widget placement on a product page, click Select.
On the page that opens, hold Shift and click the element you want the widget next to. Choose Above or Below, then click Save.
If the Subscription Widget block is already on your product page, the block is used and this selector is ignored. In that case, the picker isn't shown in Settings.
