Using an Online Store 2.0 theme? Place the subscription widget with the Subscription Widget app block in the theme editor. Selectors aren't needed for that. See How to add the subscription widget to your product page. Use selectors for vintage themes, or as a fallback when the block can't be placed where you need it.
Selectors are used for showing the app elements on the store pages correctly.
You can set up them manually or contact us.
If the app can't confirm the widget's placement, the Subscription rules page shows a "Check the subscription widget on your product page" banner. After a theme change, it shows "Check the subscription widget after your theme change". Use Check on storefront to look at a product page. Then click Add widget to theme (app block themes) or Update app selectors (vintage themes).
Using selectors
To set up selectors, go to Settings > General > Selectors.
There are the following selectors:
Widget placement on a product page (required only if you don't use the app block
‘Add to cart’ button selection (required)
Product price selection
Cart subtotal selection
Widget placement on a quick view
Widget placement on featured product section
If the current store theme has Ajax Cart / pop-up cart / cart drawer:
‘Check out’ button selection (required)
Ajax Cart subtotal selection
Switcher Basic/Advanced just visually hides/shows optional selectors in the app admin. It means that if you set up optional selectors, then switch to Basic, optional selectors will still remain set up and will be displayed in the store.
