Release 1.4.0

May Changelog | Multilingual support, customer tagging & smarter discount handling

Written by Neo

πŸš€ New features

πŸ‘‰ Multilingual settings

Subscription-related text in your storefront is now automatically translated to match your store's active languages β€” no manual setup required.

For merchants who want more control, all translations can also be edited manually on a per-language basis. This ensures your subscription messaging stays on-brand and accurate across every market you sell in.

πŸ‘‰ Add tags to subscribed customers & subscription orders

You can now automatically apply custom tags to customers when they subscribe, as well as to their subscription orders.

This makes it easier to segment your subscriber base, trigger flows in other tools, manage fulfillment logic, or simply keep your customer and order lists organized without manual tagging.

βš™οΈ Improvements

πŸ‘‰ External manual discount codes for invoice-based subscriptions

Discount codes can now be applied to invoice-based (recurring invoice) subscriptions β€” previously this was only supported for automatic subscriptions.

When a discount code is applicable, it will be automatically applied to all subsequent subscription orders, or to a selected subset of them. This brings invoice-based subscriptions in line with the discount flexibility already available for automatic subscriptions.

πŸ‘‰ Discount codes now supported in draft orders for invoice-based subscriptions

Invoice-based subscriptions create a draft order for each billing cycle. Previously, discount codes could not be applied to these draft orders.

You can now add discount codes directly to draft orders generated by invoice-based subscriptions β€” without workarounds.
