🚀 New features
👉 See which subscriptions need attention
When a renewal fails, RecurrinGO now tells you why it failed, what changed and what to do next. You no longer have to dig through order history to find out.
Where you'll see it:
Home: a banner shows how many subscriptions need attention, with a Review subscriptions button. If you dismiss it, it comes back only when new issues appear.
Subscriptions list: a warning icon next to the status. Click it to see the issue, the last failed attempt and a Review subscription link.
Subscription page: a banner explains each issue. A warning also appears in the card it relates to, such as the product, the payment method or the shipping address.
Two new filters on the Subscriptions page help you work through them:
Needs attention: show only subscriptions with an open issue.
Error type: Product or variant unavailable, Payment method needs attention, Temporary payment failure, Fraud review required, Inventory unavailable, Store payment setup issue, Customer information missing, or Unknown renewal error.
What to know:
Issues clear on their own once the cause is fixed. For example, the next renewal succeeds, the customer updates their card, or you replace or restock the product.
If an unavailable product was removed and the subscription continues without it, click Mark as reviewed to clear the warning. The subscription itself doesn't change.
For stock problems, use View inventory in Shopify or Review inventory locations to go straight to the product in Shopify.
For temporary payment failures, the message shows when RecurrinGO will retry. Often no action is needed.
👉 Send payment update links
When a customer's card is expired, declined or removed, you can now ask Shopify to email them a secure link to update it, straight from RecurrinGO.
For one subscription:
Open the subscription.
In the payment method warning, click Send payment update link.
For several subscriptions at once:
On the Subscriptions page, select subscriptions, or filter by Error type → Payment method needs attention.
Click Send payment update links.
Check how many customers will be emailed and how many subscriptions will be skipped, then click Send links.
What to know:
Each customer gets one email per payment method, even if that card is used by several subscriptions.
You can send one link per payment method every 24 hours. The subscription page shows when you can send the next one.
Subscriptions without a customer email or a saved payment method are skipped.
When sending finishes, you'll see how many links were sent, skipped or failed. Use Retry failed sends if some didn't go through.
⚙️ Improvements
👉 Renewals flagged as fraud are no longer retried
If Shopify flags a renewal as potentially fraudulent, or places a subscription under review, RecurrinGO stops retrying it. The subscription goes straight to the final action you set in Settings → Failed payment flow (skip, pause or cancel). It shows up under Error type → Fraud review required.
👉 Invoices that can't be sent now show as failed
If an invoice subscription's customer has no email address, the invoice can't be sent. That order is now marked as failed with a clear reason under Customer information missing, instead of looking as if it went through.
👉 Product titles in the subscriptions export
The subscriptions export now includes product titles, so you don't need to match product IDs by hand.
👉 New pricing: one plan, everything included
New stores now get a single plan: $19.99 / month with a 14-day free trial. Every feature is included, with no add-ons and no usage-based charges.
Already on an older plan? Nothing changes for you. You keep your current plan and pricing. If you're on the annual plan, you keep it. If you switch to monthly, monthly billing starts as soon as you approve it, and the unused part of the year isn't refunded.
👉 Faster collection and search pages
Collection, search and cart pages now load much less app data. On large collections, the page gets noticeably lighter.
👉 Custom JavaScript now goes through our support team
The custom JavaScript field has been removed from Settings → General as part of our security improvements. Custom CSS stays where it is. If you need custom JavaScript added or changed, contact support and we'll set it up for you.
